Refund Policy​

At NOURISH Wellness and Care, we honor the sacred and unpredictable nature of birth. We also value clear agreements and mutual respect. Below is our refund policy, designed to protect your investment while recognizing the time and energy we devote to your care.

Retainer Fee

A non-refundable retainer of the first monthly fee is required to book services. This reserves your due window and on-call time and applies toward your total package price.

Refund Policy by Package

Full Package – $2000

Includes prenatal visits, full on-call support, birth attendance, and postpartum check-ins.

  • Cancellation before 36 weeks: Remaining of the balance (excluding retainer) may be refunded, if services have not been rendered.

  • Cancellation after 36 weeks: No refund, due to on-call commitment and preparations.

  • If doula is unavailable and no backup is provided: Partial refund will be offered, minus services already rendered.

  • If labor is too fast or client doesn’t call in time: No refund issued.

Just-in-Time Package – $1300

For families who want last-minute support closer to their estimated due date.

  • Non-refundable retainer of first monthly fee secures availability.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of service start are non-refundable.

  • If doula support is not needed or the birth is missed for reasons outside the doula’s control, no refund is issued.

Digital Doula Support – $1000

Virtual support via phone, text, video, and resource sharing.

  • Once services begin, this package is non-refundable.

  • If cancelled before 38 weeks and no sessions have occurred, a 50% refund may be offered (excluding retainer).

Other Considerations

  • If you’re unhappy with services, please reach out as soon as possible. We will always listen and consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

  • Backup doulas are offered when available. If no backup is present and no birth support was received, partial refunds may apply.

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of your birth or cancellation.
