Care that meets your body where it is.

ABOUT  NOURISH

I offer nourishment in the form of somatic bodywork, herbal apothecary, and birth doula care. Meeting you in all seasons of the body with presence, education, and earth-based support.

Whether you're looking for bodywork for an injury or persistent pain, support through birth or postpartum, or nourishment from herbs and ritual, this is a space where you are met as a whole person. Free to feel, to question, to integrate, and to be.

I believe healing happens through connection, awareness, and agency. By honoring the intelligence of the body, the stories held in our tissues, and the ongoing practice of belonging to ourselves and each other.

This is body-first and nervous-system-informed care that values curiosity over perfection and presence over performance.

Guiding Pillars of My Practice

This work is built on foundations that invite you not just to receive care—but to grow within it, to know yourself through it, and to move with more ease and possibility in your life. These guiding pillars shape every offering, every interaction, and every space we hold.

Self-Efficacy

You are the expert of your body. My role is not to lead or override, but to support your ability to make choices, notice patterns, and trust your inner cues. I offer tools and practices that return agency to you—because healing is not something given, it’s something reclaimed.

Rate of Variability

The capacity to shift—between movement and stillness, contraction and expansion, alertness and rest—is a sign of vitality. In this space, we celebrate variability in body, emotion, and experience. We work with your nervous system in ways that encourage fluidity, adaptability, and resilience, not rigid control.

Expanded Capacity

Healing isn’t about feeling better all the time—it’s about being able to be with more of what life brings. Our work together helps widen your window of tolerance, allowing more sensation, more emotion, more choice—without overwhelm. We build capacity slowly, gently, and with deep respect for your pace.

Holistic Education

Knowledge is power, but more importantly—it’s connection. We offer education that is embodied, inclusive, and rooted in lived experience. Whether we’re sharing about the nervous system, herbal energetics, or birth transitions, our goal is to demystify the body, making your healing process feel accessible, personal, and grounded.

About Amy

Hi, I’m Amy —

a somatic practitioner, birth doula, herbalist, and lifelong learner and educator based in Colfax, California. My path began in dance, where I fell in love with the body’s expressive capacity and resilience. That early training sparked a lifelong study of movement, anatomy, fascia, and the nervous system; eventually leading me into the somatic world, where I’ve been practicing for the past seven years.I bring a trauma-informed, nervous system-aware approach to everything I offer, whether we’re working through pain, preparing for birth, or navigating postpartum.

My work centers clarity, functional movement, and honoring the body as a wise partner, not something to fix. Becoming a doula was a natural extension of my somatic work. After training with Kindred Birth Collective and supporting my best friend through birth, I knew this was part of my path. I pair that doula care with over two decades of teaching, allowing me to educate and support in ways that feel grounded and empowering.

My herbal work began with a love for plants and a desire for gentler, whole-body care. I offer nourishment through food, herbs, and minerals, blending traditional wisdom with modern knowledge. My work with plants is an ongoing development as the plant world is vast and ever abundant.

In all I do, I aim to demystify the body, honor individual truth, and walk beside you with care, choice, and deep respect.
